Does anyone know how I could create an effect like this? is from Sherlock Holmes The Devil’s Daughter, he uses intuition to highlight specific objects in gold as in the image. I was wondering how I could make this effect on postprocess and how to make objects / decals a highlight color !!

Custom depth maybe?
You can assign actors to use custom depth, then use it as a mask in your post-process blendable.
Or search it on youtube there are many ways to do that.

Try comparing the depth pass with the custom depth.
