possible to apply Fresnel to everything? Post Processing?

I’d like to add a Fresnel to more than one thing in a scene dynamically. Basically to highlight a character. I can do it by adding a flat color over top or a line around the character using a post-processing material, but i cant seem to get it to do it with a fresnel.
The problem is my characters have multiple assets (skin, armor, hair, weapons, etc) all with different materials. It is difficult and time consuming to create every material with the fresnel setting and to call every material on a character every time I want them to be highlighted. Using the Post processing material and a “render custom depth” setting is much faster and easier to use ideally.
