Hopefully this will make sense. I’m using the forward render in 4.14. I enabled Dbuffer Decals, this required a restart of the program. When reopening, it seems ALL of my shaders required recompiling.
NOW when I build my lighting, my BasePass (Static eBasePass … Type=1) is at 40ms. The Foward Render is still checked, but I’m wondering if when enabling the DBuffer Decals, if it didn’t jump the system to deferred, and if there’s a way (aside from the UI checkbox) to verify it.
