Hello. I have been struggling with generating Landscape HLOD for the World Partition level in Unreal 5.
I know there aren’t much information about the new system but I really need some help.
All other actor in the level are successfully processed but the landscape proxies.
After multiple tests, I’ve come to the following conclusion.
- Issue is related to the Landscape Material - Blending Layers
- In Landscape mode, the Sculpt mode creates no problem, but the Paint mode using layers does.
- I tracked down the error log and the crashing point is related to the Weight map and layer hash- Something to do with the blending option in the Landscape material.
- My initial material blending mode was composed of multiple alpha blending and one weight blending. Played around with the blending options but had no luck.
