PLY orientation with radiance fields json

Hi,

I’ve been playing around with the Radiance Fields export option, but am running into a bit of an issue trying to match the exported ply file to the json. It seems that the exported ply is rotated and possibly in a different scale than the json.

I have tried selecting grid reference as the datum for both, as well as use the project setting which is using a UK based crm but can’t find a way to make the ply match the json for use in brush.

Any advice appreciated!

Ahh, think I’ve sussed it. Needed to rotate the ply 90 around X in the export settings to match the radiance fields json export.

Actually, come to think of it, why is this necessary? In order to match the export of the radiance field json, either it or the ply must be rotated on x by 90.

where’s the translation getting screwed up in the first place?

Is this a bug?
