Please help me all my folders and assets are not showing in unreal

What was going on when this occurred?

Have you moved any files in or out of the project manually?

Still unsure what caused this issue, but do you have any previous backups? This user fixed this error a relatively unique way:

All content and config files are there, but the project opens as if it was blank. Entire project is "gone".

Project opened as if it was a brand new, empty, fresh project. While all of the files still exist in the actual folder, Unreal doesn’t see a single one of them inside the editor. The project settings are “wiped”. Before I get questions - no, I have not been copying files, migrating them project to project, or done anything else like it - everything is just simply gone. What happened: Worked on the project Closed the project Worked on some assets Opened the project again Everything is gone

this is an old unreal engine 4.27 and I converted to unreal engine 5.1 the game works perfectly but the assets is not showing idk why caused this

Did the other user’s solution work? If not, could you try backing up the project and manipulating the files at runtime? Does creating a new asset work?
