Playstation 5 players/creators are unable to join my island. They crash if they try to join my island in create mode or through an island code. When i try with a playstion 4 there are no problems.
I have no idea what’s causing this since it worked fine before.
Steps to Reproduce
Load up the island with island code: 5141-8820-7996 on your playstation 5
Look at my report ID and check the logs if you can.
Expected Result
Playstation 5 creators/players can join my island
Observed Result
Playstation 5 players are unable to load in my UEFN edit session or join through an island (test) code
Update;
I tried again after the v27.10 update and got in the map without problems. I thought it was fixed, but left the game and tried to join again one more time to make sure; couldn’t get in the game.
Asked other PS5 players to try this as well and same result: First time since the update they can join and play without any problems. Second try and anything after that they’re unable to join the game.
Maybe this has something to do with gamefeaturedata which was reset after the update. I’ll try this again next Fortnite update, but it looks like this bug is out of my control and it’s something on Epic’s end.
If anyone could take a look at this, that would mean a lot to me, because I have no idea how to fix this issue since it looks like it’s out of my control…
Hey @Flak I’m unable to release my new animal map I worked on for 2 months because of a very weird bug I described above. I saw you helped someone else who had a similar issue in the past.
If you have a free moment, could you send this issue forward to the bug team?
It looks like it’s something out of my control, because ps5 players can only load into my map once after every Fortnite update. Been like this for the last 4 fortnite updates.
