Summary
After publishing my UEFN island and got accepted by Epic, players are unable to join via the island code or name search. The map is visible and shows up in the discovery tab, but when attempting to join, it fails with the error #1: “We had trouble talking to the matchmaker, give it another shot…etc.” Worth mentioning that the downloading of the map stucks at 2%, sometimes the game crashes, I tested it on different platform Console and PC. The island has a valid Verse code, and game settings. I’ve republished multiple times with minor changes and verified that everything is going well when launching the session in UEFN, and in the Creator Portal yet the issue persists.

Matchmaking
Steps to Reproduce
I Open UEFN and build a map with valid settings.
I Publish the island through UEFN with a new version name and wait for approval.
Once approved, search for the island using the island code or name in Fortnite.
Attempt to join the island.
Observe the error: “We had trouble talking to the matchmaker”, the map cannot be joined despite being published and visible in discovery.
Expected Result
Players should be able to play the map since it’s accepted by Epic games and doesn’t break any rules.
Observed Result
The island appears in Fortnite’s discovery tab and can be found using the island code or name. However, when attempting to join, the game displays the error message: “We had trouble talking to the matchmaker.” The session does not start, and no players are able to enter the island. This occurs consistently across multiple devices and accounts, even after republishing and verifying all required settings.

Additional Notes
I added furniture to my map Sketchfab, I don’t know if that can effect the map by any chance even though it is accepted by Epic for publishing.
