Hello, in my map for the past couple of months, some players have told me that others are placing devices like the “matchmaking portal” to block players and entrances, ruining the experience of my map. Since these devices are unbreakable and have collision, I believe they can do this in any map they want. I’m not sure if it’s some kind of hack or a glitch. Please look into this.

Steps to Reproduce
I am unsure how players are able to place these devices, whether it’s a hack or a glitch, but it has been reported by multiple users. Please investigate this issue.
Expected Result
Players should not be able to place devices like the matchmaking portal.
Observed Result
Some players, hackers, or glitchers are able to place devices like the matchmaking portal in creators maps.
So I figured out how they do it: they use a private server that allows them to have skins and emotes. For some reason, they can still use these in UEFN sessions. To place the device, they use an emote called “Deploy Party Rift.” Once used, it spawns the matchmaking device. I hope this gets looked into.
Screenshots from a video on YouTube:
It looks like my map has become a target for these players. They keep spawning portals to block other players and restrict access to certain areas. I really hope Epic looks into this, as my map is slowly dying due to these activities, which are driving players away and ruining their experience.
Recent report I received:
I wish it were that easy. They throw the device like toy emotes, so they can stand anywhere and toss it. You can see from the screenshots above that I got from a YouTube video .
FN Creative yes, but not UEFN
if you set the UEFN connector as private does this not stop everything
Have you checked who is on you Team group for access and updates.
How about transferring the project control to a new team in the content server
I appreciate your insights! While it’s true that players get kicked from UEFN sessions if they’re using a private server, they can still access these sessions by following certain steps, as shown in the YouTube video. That’s why I’m reporting this.
hi @FUNCR ,
the real problem lies in that similar to an Identification scam they have somehow managed to clone your Epic Creative ID which is your Verse ID.
no idea how you get this back effectively you have allowed your private key to be public.
When using Amazon Web Services, and GitHub they always advise that the encrypted login key should be kept safe. @Flak
Having looked at the Epic documentation they do not mention this problem
