Summary
Ever since the proximity chat update, whenever players are fully eliminated and sent to spectate mode in Islands with normal game chat (no proximity chat), they are removed from Game Chat and have to manually re-join it.
This happens quite frequently.

Steps to Reproduce
Join an island where you enter spectate mode when eliminated. Join game chat. Most or all of the time you will be kicked from game chat upon elimination.
Expected Result
Players are never removed from game chat in islands where proximity chat is turned off.
Observed Result
Players can be kicked from game chat upon elimination.
