PlayerController replicated?

I thought the playercontroller was a class always replicated?

In this case, why by default, the checkbox Replicates is not checked inside the PC?

As you can see here: APlayerController | Unreal Engine Documentation PlayerController exists only on server for Player controlled pawns and on their own clients, but NOT on remote client machines that don’t own that pawns…
