Joining a private island more than one time results in the player loosing all cosmetics

Steps to Reproduce
Publish a private island
- join it once (no problem)
- leave to lobby
- join again (fail)
Expected Result
No matter how many times a player joins their cosmetic should always show
Observed Result
on subsequent join, player cosmetics are missing and the default skin shows

I’m seeing this on multiple private islands
Not Launching fortnite directly from its exe, but from UEFN (then back to lobby and enter a private code)… not sure if that matters
None of the islands had any player reference device
