Steps to Reproduce
Log Into “Miner Tycoon” (4781-1197-6847)
Hit the Main Rock in the middle of the Lobby area until you have ~50 stone
Change equipped item to “Signal Remote”
Left Click Signal Remote
Upgrade the one available upgrade as many times as you can
Close the Signal Remote Menu
Log out
Log back in
You will see your stone persisted, but your strength level did not
Expected Result
All data should have been persisted, you should have kept the levels that you upgraded in your signal remote.
Observed Result
The stone amount you accumulated persisted (just saved in player data as a float)
But the Strength upgrade from the signal remote did not persist (Saved in player data as an array of floats)
This makes me believe the issue is with player saved data as arrays
An example I have is the health upgrade in the game. The Health Upgrade brings your player to a max of 600 HP. However, the upgrade menu thinks you haven’t upgraded it so you can do it again even if you’re max, bringing yourself up to 1100. Then if you log out and back in, you’ll have 1100 HP and you can do it again for even more HP.
We’ve got a fix for the Verse persistence issue, expected to go live tonight. If your island was impacted and players lost data, we’re kicking off a data restoration process.

Does restoring the data reset New Player’s data who had joined the map since the persistence broke? Or does it only affect those who had data prior to it?

Just checking in to see when the data restore will be fully pushed out as well. Players who accessed our map between the new season launch and the hotfix to array persistence (roughly a 24-hour window) still appear to have corrupted persistent data. It’s now been a few days, and as of this evening (Monday), I’m still seeing the issue on my end.

Is it possible to give us an update on the actual status of the data restoration? A couple of players expect it to happen on Monday and we get a lot of questions about wich we can’t answer at the moment. Thanks and kindly regards SCOOP
I agree an update would be nice. @kalishane_eg anything? There are a few unanswered questions that we would at least like some guidance on, if you could find the time please.
When is the data being rolled back? Is it all at once, or is it going to be island by island? Are new players who joined going to be impacted, or is it just individual data being rolled back?
Finally we saw some player, who played between the fix and the rollback, who got a data rollback too. It looks like that it has infected the player who wasn’t playing the game during the rollback. If that info helps you somehow.
