Summary

we are getting multiple reports of ppl losing all their progress when 2 users play together using the split screen functionality on the same console.

Steps to Reproduce

  • Have a 2nd player join in split screen (PS5)
  • Enter the island
  • The 2nd player suddenly freezes.
  • log out of the island.
  • come back into the island
  • both players will have their persistent data reset. (all resources and upgrades at 0)

Expected Result

Players maintaining their persistent data

Observed Result

Both players get their persistent data reset. (lost progress)

Yeah I have had a number of reports about this

FORT-928339 is ‘Closed’ as ‘Fixed’. The issue will be addressed in 36.10.
