Player Movement Device does not apply Skydiving settings to a Skydive Volume

When using the Player Movement Device and overriding Skydiving settings, these settings are not applied to Skydive Volume Devices.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Add a Skydive Volume Device to the island
  2. Add a Player Movement Device to the island
  3. Change the Player Movement Device “Skydiving” settings to minimum values, such as Skydiving Maximum Acceleration, Skydiving Maximum Lateral Speed and Skydiving Terminal Velocity set to 1.0
  4. Start the game and walk into the Skydive Volume Device area

Expected Result

The movement inside the Skydive Volume should be very slow.

Observed Result

The movement inside the Skydive Volume stays at the default speed.

Additional Notes

Spawning in the sky does apply the expected Player Movement Device settings. Maybe the Skydive Volume is overriding the new Player Movement settings in some way, possibly using internal settings that are not publicly exposed.

The status of FORT-932899 changed to ‘Needs Triage’. We’ve confirmed the issue and it’s waiting to be assigned to someone to fix it.
