Summary
While using the Player Marker Device it seems to have issues Between Tracked Player Visibility, Who can see Markers, and how Marker Visibility is Set.
Steps to Reproduce
Having “Visible to Tracked Player” set to False Fails to not show their Beacon or Marker to the Player Being Tracked.
Setting a Team or Class for a Visibility State Fails to only show for that selected Team/Class, Likely of Issue Above?
Expected Result
When Team/Class Visibility is Set, Should only be Seen by that Team/Class.
When Player is Being Tracked and Option “Visible to Tracked Player” is set to False, I should not be able to see if I am being Tracked.
Observed Result
One Issue is that when using the Option ‘Visible for Tracked Player’, it tends to Allow the Player who is being Tracked to See the Marker that is Attatched to them even if it’s in a Constant Update State or with an Update Frequency Set.
Next is that when Selecting what Teams and/or Class are able to see that marker tend to fail allowing for similar things from issue one, others being able to see markers that should not be visible to them. Could be likely that it’s because tracked players can see their markers when they should be allowed to.
As Well as name plates, I understand that for the Marker Portion, not the beacon, to be seen the Player’s Name Plate also needs some kind of visibility.
Platform(s)
windows
Nintendo Switch
Xbox Series S
Additional Notes
I would have to assume that the Device Attached it self Correctly to the Team/Class at Game Start Judging by when and how a Marker/Beacon can be seen when the Game Starts.
Upon other Players switching Teams and Class the Marker Device also seems to blink or reset Beacons and Markers at the time of a switch
