Summary
Hello Epic Games Support Team,
I am experiencing an issue with the Chiller device in UEFN. When the Chiller is activated on the player, the snow effect appears normally on their feet, which indicates that the Chiller is being activated correctly. However, the player does not slide at all and can continue walking and moving normally.
This issue significantly affects my parkour map and ruins the gameplay experience because sliding with the Chiller is an essential part of the map’s design.
I have created and tested more than three different maps, and I experienced the exact same issue in all of them: the snow effect appears on the player’s feet, but the player does not slide.
Please investigate this issue and let me know whether it is a problem with the Chiller itself or with UEFN, and whether there is a specific setting that needs to be enabled for the sliding effect to work correctly.
Thank you for your help. I hope this issue can be resolved as soon as possible, as it is preventing me from completing my parkour maps.
Best regards,

Gameplay
Steps to Reproduce
The player cannot slide anywhere in my map. I first tested the Chiller, and although it activates and snow appears on the player’s feet, the player does not slide. I also tested another device/mechanic that should make the player slide, but the same issue occurred. This appears to be a general sliding issue with my map, not a problem with the Chiller specifically.
Expected Result
The player should be able to slide normally when using the Chiller or any other mechanic that enables sliding.
Observed Result
The player cannot slide at all, even when using different methods that should enable sliding.
