I’ve started this thread in Unreal Tournament forums:
The current game engine version is UE 4.12.0 (August 29 build). Is there a particular reason why Planar reflections and custom cubemap resolution settings for Reflection capture actors and Skylights are not implemented in game engine version yet?
I can’t find options to enable these features in Project rendering and Reflection capture default settings.
I can’t speak for UT specifically but from what I’m aware a lot of the changes get merged back over to it at some point. It may have been that when this build of 4.12 was used for the UT editor the changes to include Planar Reflections was not yet available. I guess a lot of it just depends on how often UT pulls down the changes from our Main Engine development side since they are separate branches.
Asking on the UT forums is probably the right course of action since someone with active development on that Game Editor will likely have a more concise answer.
