I can’t seem to get pixel streaming working when I set the default RHI to DirectX 12, as I require it for Raytracing.
Once I enable it, the server just stops seeing the application launching so Pixel Streaming doesn’t work. Changing the RHI or Forcing DX11 via -DX11 gets things working again, but without Raytracing!
Tried in 4.22 too and still didn’t work. Is this a limitation or a bug? I can’t seem to verify if its not meant to work on the Pixel Streaming reference!
I have traced the problem down to nvencoder, nvencoder has a dependency on DirectX SDK and I believe microsoft never update it to DX12.
I have tried to port a DX11 device to DX12 by D3D11On12 however it doesn’t work.
I hope it will work soon.
