Pivot blocks area where i want to put the mesh

I want to layout an group of meshes next to each other, the meshes lay in an angle. But there is a problem. The Pivot is blocking the direction i want to move the mesh. See images below. What happens is that i pull the red Arrow, but instead of the mesh getting down it flips almost back to the first image it’s position, the pivot with mesh is also sometimes flickering and doing very strange, i lost control of the pivot! And in the top bar i have deselect every snapping option, what is going wrong?

Together with this new problem i have the following problems below from the last two weeks that make UE4 though and sometimes impossible to work with:

  • Black stripes trough whole screen in editor and ingame, something to do with the Fog volume. Not solved
  • Copied meshes start to be invisible, and even crashed the editor once, problem seems to be coming back on restart editor. Still happening now and then.
  • UE4 is not compilling shaders anymore in some levels, i had to restart the whole project again from scratch for the third time. Not solved
  • Kernel crashes killed the whole project in editor when just having an framerate of 120fps. I had to start the project again from scratch as new project because the project did keep crashing. Not solved
  • When trigger on touch starts> play new level, then the player is respawned in thesame level, had to accept this error… Not solved.

I found out today you can temporarily move the pivot point by clicking and dragging with the middlemouse button on the white center part of the pivot point. This might help you with positioning this object. (Or export the model at 0,0,0 so that the pivot point is correctly centered)

Thank you for the tip, will try it out!

Problem is still there, seems to be some bug in UE4?

I have included a new example of this frustrating error, i took a random screenshot while this error is in action all the time, random i made a screenshot of one example. I can not calculate where the mesh or pivot is going when i move them, they randomly change to weird positions.

The pivot is going all over the place, and the mesh is teleporting to different positions ghosting over the screen. This is not normal! I have no control over the mesh or pivot. I have included

See below in the pictures what i try to do, i want to move the mesh to the left, what happens you can see on picture two.

Nobody has an answer to this bug? It is impossible in my project to precise place objects in the world, the pivor is snapping around the viewport ande meshes are randomly ghosting/snapping around the location where i want the mesh to be. It takes every mesh ten minutes to get it where i want, if i am Lucky! The pivot is broken.
