Question about VR support for wide field of view HMD. The just launched PIMAX kickstarter provides an HMD with two 4k screens.
Right now it appears as though steam vr games are somehow upscaled with some warping effect around the edges to fill the wide field of view.
Can we expect there to be support in unreal for custom resolution and FOV settings for different VR devices that are easy for unreal VR game developers to implement in order to make their games take full advantage of the wide field of view from PIMAX 8K and Star VR?
Is this already a thing?
