I’m making a Vr game where you take care of pets and i want the player to be able to pick some pets up, but when i try picking them up, instead of staying still as an object, they continue to move and it bugs their rotation. Can anyone help me with this?
Hey there @Lily88777! Welcome back to the community! Usually, you’d want to disable their own movement in one way or another. Depending on how your game works, alternatively you may just want to disable their AI or just have a “Picked up” mode, and just pick up where they left off when released.
A crude but effective way to do this would be to enable or disable the movement component itself. This could cause unintended consequences in rare edge cases.
