Pickaxe Range Multiplier Resets for Some Players After Publishing

Summary

The Pickaxe Range Multiplier setting (set to x3 in Island Settings) resets to default (x1) for some players after publishing the map. The issue does not occur in the editor, only in the published version.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create an island in UEFN.
  2. Go to Island Settings and set Pickaxe Range Multiplier to x3.
  3. Publish the island and start a game on the published version.
  4. Have multiple players join the game.
  5. Observe the issue: Some players have the default pickaxe range (x1) instead of the intended x3.

Note: The bug does not always happen. Sometimes it occurs on the first attempt, but other times it takes several tries before the issue appears.

Expected Result

  1. Create an island in UEFN.
  2. Go to Island Settings and set Pickaxe Range Multiplier to x3.
  3. Publish the island and start a game on the published version.
  4. Have multiple players join the game.

Expected Behavior: All players should always have the same pickaxe range (x3).

Observed Result

Some players have the default pickaxe range (x1) instead of the intended x3.

Note: The bug does not always happen. Sometimes it occurs on the first attempt, but other times it takes several tries before the issue appears.

Additional Notes

The issue only occurs in the published version of the island. In the editor, everything works correctly.
The bug seems to be related to matchmaking or server synchronization (only in published versions).
Clearing cache and republishing does not fix the issue.
Copying the island and publishing again also does not resolve the bug.
The bug occurs randomly—sometimes immediately, sometimes after multiple tries.
