Physics help with 4.13 vr template


I’ve been using the base of the vr template scene with my own environment, I have a static mesh that I will be interacting with by grabbing and picking up so I duplicated the blueprint on the 1m cube that is in the original motion controller scene and have replaced the static mesh with my own.

The problem I’m having is that the meshes on spawn are constantly interacting with the collision cause a alarming frame rate drop, I have shoe’s on a flat shelf with simple custom box collision applied but when the simulation runs they start juddering due to the collision however I notice in the original motion controller map the cubes are stack on top of each other and are on a flat base but do not judder.

anyone know what Im doing wrong?
