Physics Constraint Replication

What’s the proper way to replicate physics constraints? This is what I have right now and it keeps getting de-synced.

There is no “good fix” for physics as of now…

The simplest and fasted way would be to enable movement replication on the actors that you want to grab.

However, that’s not really ideal and instead you should go with a very deep and complex way of physics replication.

Thanks for the reply! I didn’t find movement replication on the actor, did you mean component replication? Also MOVER looks interesting I’ll take a look into it.

I was referring to the “Replicate Movement” boolean.

Ah okay, I’ll try that!

I tried that and also changed the blueprint a bit and now it won’t update to the client.

Did you set the actor to replicate? Also afaik you still need notify everyone about your physics constraint.

Edit: Just note that as I said, this way is still not very optimal and most likely you will need to have a custom solution.
Replicating physics is something even epic games struggles with.
