Perspective is Wrong When Running as Multiplayer Client with SteamVR

I’m running a project that is basically the Shooter Game sample hacked up to have SteamVR support. I’m currently trying to get multiplayer working. When running as the server, everything works fine. Running as client, however, connected to either a dedicated server or another instance, results in a seriously nauseating experience. Everything is extremely warped and the eyes are pointed ~45 degrees apart from each other. Everything looks fine on my monitor and tracking seems to be working fine. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Update

Now I’m not even connecting to the headset successfully in client mode. I can’t figure out what changed. This guy had a similar problem and says that it did not occur in 4.11. Is this just a bug in 4.13?
