Hey everyone,
I’ve been struggling with this issue for a long time now,
and I finally decided to post it here hoping someone might have a clue.
No matter what I do, my renders always have flickering artifacts,
it’s visible both in the final render and even in the viewport during realtime playback.
I’ve tried:
- Tweaking anti-aliasing settings (including high TemporalAA sample counts)
- Increasing screen percentage
- Testing with different output formats and compression settings
- Using Movie Render Queue with all quality settings pushed to the max
Nothing helps! the flickering is always there.
Some context:
- I’m using UE5 (5.2 and 5.5 )
- Rendering with Lumen
- GPU: RTX 4060 8GB
- The flicker appears even when just playing the scene in the viewport
It happens mostly with detailed geometry, fast motion, and sometimes even on still shots.
If anyone has experienced something similar or has a suggestion, I’d really appreciate the help.
