Awesome. Ctrl+R in the viewport and sorted… I am talking about static noise that is only present when UE5 editor is in focus. As soon as I focus something else it goes away.
Scarlett 2i4 Gen1 external audio device, so this is not about crossover talk from the board to the onboard audio out jack.
I use noise cancelling headphones to avoid distractions from the rest of the house but the static is in the audio output, so whoever mentioned that as a solution didn’t understand the issue.
Can’t believe I didn’t know about this real-time switch…but it only helps if you are not doing anything in the editor. Soon as I run PIE, static is back.
EDIT: Okay I messed around with some cables from the headphone port and the noise went away. I guess I need to upgrade sooner than later, the headphone port is getting fiddly.
