Performance Validator False Positive – Map: ThePitMinecraft fails under‑30 FPS publishing check

Summary

Hello Epic Dev Team,

I am encountering a publishing issue in UEFN where the system fails with
“Map has areas that run under 30 FPS…”
even though the in-editor Room Profiler shows maximum ~5 ms in all regions.

I have:
• Properly set up Room Volumes covering all gameplay and decorative areas
• Temporarily disabled the Sky Sphere background
• Verified memory usage and performance budgets

Nonetheless, the publishing validator still rejects the project. I suspect a false positive in the automated performance check.

Could someone manually review and unlock this project if it meets performance limits? If not, please specify the exact object or area causing the flag so I can optimize it.

Project Name: ThePitMinecraft

Thank you.

Publishing

Steps to Reproduce

1 Open UEFN (Unreal Editor for Fortnite) and load the project ThePitMinecraft
1 Ensure that the map is optimized with Room Volumes or Barrier Volumes surrounding all playable and visual elements.
3 Open the “Room Profiler” and confirm that all areas stay consistently under 5ms in the frame timing visualization.
4 Attempt to publish the island as Unlisted.
5 Observe that the validation fails with Error Code 114, stating that parts of the island run under 30 FPS, even though the Room Profiler shows no such performance drop.

Expected Result

The expected result is that the publishing validation should succeed, as the Room Profiler indicates no performance issues below 30 FPS, and all visual elements are properly enclosed within Room Volumes/Barrier Volumes. If there are any remaining performance concerns, the validator should provide a clear indication of which specific objects or areas are causing the problem.

Observed Result

The publishing validation fails with Error Code 1.14 (“Stay within Spec Requirements – Frame rates should stay above 30 FPS”). No detailed feedback is provided about which specific areas or objects are allegedly below 30 FPS, making it impossible to identify or resolve the issue, even though the Room Profiler shows all areas performing well within acceptable limits.
