In the midst of creating a VR game about “Pirate”, I make a commercial port on an island and to do things like fishing nets I wonder if it is better to do in modeling (lot of polygon) or plan with a texture in opacity. Xhich is the most optimized ?

a fish net, just like a fence, would be opacity thing. poly solution is not just expensive, it does not really provide the benefit for its cost
