Hi,
I have been creating a demo game in VR using HTC Vive with version 4.19. I wanted to show the Infinity Blade: Ice Lands environment in VR. I can understand that the environment which I chose will cost me performance lags. However, I was able to get around 120 FPS while building the project. When I see the VR preview, the game work like charm and no lag or whatsoever. I tweaked the engine scalability settings and achieved that 120 FPS.
But the real struggle is I couldn’t replicate it in the packaged game. There was lag in the windows package when I move my head from one side to the other (Wearing the HMD while playing). FPS was much better if I stand still and do nothing. But this is not the purpose of the game.
I tried all the VR best practices shown by Unreal officially and still I am unable to get atleast 70 FPS. What would be the real issue here. Why I am not getting what I achieved in the build? Am I missing something here while packing the game?
