Performance drop using lights with cast shadows

Hi, I have a problem with spot or point light shadowing, it is too expensive to use, here is the example
It is normal? Maybe there is a way to tweak some setting of the shadow map to make it less expensive?

It is normal. Shadows are one of the most taxing rendering feature there are in general.

Single pointlight shadows costing 1ms is not that unusual.
