Hi everyone, could someone help me by advising me on the parts for a build for the use of unreal engine and gaming, budget 1500€

- look around for part deals along those lines
- X3d because you want to game
- Radeon instead of GeForce because 16GB vRAM for under $500 is nifty; if you must have a GeForce => 4070
- avoid Intel atm, until dust settles
- AMD is in the middle of releasing their new line-up, best to wait a month if you can, it’s the worst time to buy a PC, prices are fluctuating as we speak
- aim at a min 8 core CPU
- consider 2x32GB RAM for dev, anything above 6000MHz is not worth the extra buck and best invested elsewhere; avoid 4x16 memory configs - you may be unable to run XMP / EXPO
- you do want fast storage, ideally 2 SSDs; the larger storage drive does not need to be that fast
- do not pay more than €200 for a motherboard
- about €100 left for a case of your choosing (if not needed, invest it into the GPU)
If you find yourself under the €1500 budget, get a better GPU => 4070ti Super mayhap?
I’m totally out of touch. What dust?
If you’re sitting on the higher end of the 13th or 14th gen, it’s a ticking timebomb.
I have a budget of €1500 total.
I wanted to aim for a 4070 Ti Super
I’m not very experienced with hardware, that’s why I was asking.
I think that for the memory 1 ssd could be enough for me, (1 or 2 TB are enough)
Consider the 2TB version of the WD_Black SN850X instead of 2 SSDs; perhaps split into 2 partitions? Assets take up a lot of space. Bloody GPU driver takes 1GB these days… Video games casually take up 100GB
On the other hand, you can always add another drive later on.
Yes exactly, probably if necessary I will take another ssd later.
Listen since I don’t know where to put my hand in that build, could you compose a final one, I would be really grateful.
4070 Ti and the best cpu that fits the budget
Imho, the 4070ti ruins it and makes it worse overall at this price point, especially for a game development rig; the benefit is being able to take advantage of CUDA and DLSS. The none-ti version of the GPU would make more sense here. But you do you, here it is:
- 7700x instead of the 7800X3d, ugh
- cheaper, somewhat featureless mobo
- slower RAM, meh
- cheaper ssd, a small sacrifice, though

Translates to roughly €1430 since you still need a case. And, potentially an OS. This is still quite rough pricing, good and bad deals can be found, shop around.
The link is not complete. The important thing is that the build is valid and long-lasting.
Updated link in the post above.
Consider the original suggestion then. Or wait for AMD (a month) and / or Nvidia 4-5 months. New hardware usually makes the older gen dump prices, that’s your cue to strike.
Ok I’ll see what to do…
Hear one last piece of information from a newbie: with a build at this level, how far can I push Unreal?
Far. If you have enough vRAM and RAM. You do not need the editor to run at 120 fps…
Phew - 12
I can recommend the cheaper options with a GPU like the AMD Radeon 7900 xtx 24GB, and CPU AMD Ryzen 7 - 7800x3d, this is about a year old tech and runs UE5 smoothly.
Make sure you have a NVMe SSD for your UE projects, this is important, since faster.
It’s not cheaper, and OP does not want a Radeon. It is, by far, the best option for the UE.
Ryzen 7 - 7800x3d
OP’s budget cannot handle it either - it was my original suggestion, though - unbeatable performance at this price point and a power efficient chip.
Recap on 1600 what can I get?
The important thing is that they are the best choices for that price.
Anyway, @Everynone the build is missing the case. I don’t know any good ones…
I don’t like videos that much I don’t understand English very well xD i use GT
Could you tell me directly
