Our company switched from 3Ds Max Vray to Unreal Engine. I’m already able to get very good renders with path tracing in UE but now we need to create low poly assets with baked lighting.
Can I do this with path tracing?
With 3Ds Max, I used “bake to texture” to produce all maps, i.e., roughness, complete map, etc.
I’m struggling to understand how to do this in UE, which methods to use, lightmapping , lightmass, etc.
Would anyone be able to give me some pointers or direct me to tutorials about how to do this with path tracing?
