Path tracing for lightmap baking

Hi,

Our company switched from 3Ds Max Vray to Unreal Engine. I’m already able to get very good renders with path tracing in UE but now we need to create low poly assets with baked lighting.
Can I do this with path tracing?
With 3Ds Max, I used “bake to texture” to produce all maps, i.e., roughness, complete map, etc.
I’m struggling to understand how to do this in UE, which methods to use, lightmapping , lightmass, etc.
Would anyone be able to give me some pointers or direct me to tutorials about how to do this with path tracing?

well… hello there. ima do a quick google tho. the professional will understnad. hopefully

it will only bake light distribution and to some degree ao. it’s not meant for export. more or less scene building and game design.

GPU Lightmass is essentially what you are looking for.
