Is there any way to stop Path Tracing from constantly refreshing when working with Sequencer? I understand the refresh logic when changing frames, but Path Tracing keeps resetting even If the sequence is paused, it never completes or progresses beyond a few samples, before restarting to scratch again, this makes impossible to light the shots for pathtracer renders.

Did you figure this out?
Same issue here, with a character from FAB. When the playhead is inside an animation bar the Path Tracer keeps refreshing. It doesn’t happen with other character assets so I wonder how is this asset configured differently. Any insights since you posted?
