I’ve built a custom zoom feature using Input Triggers and Orbit Cameras, however when attempting to use it with the Patchwork Tool the player’s character goes invisible, and the “zoom” (changing to the orbit camera) does not happen.
In the video attached, you can see the zoom system in action. Works perfectly fine with and without the pistol (as intended), but as soon as I attempted to zoom while holding the Patchwork Tool it breaks the character.

Equip Patchwork Tool
Using input trigger (set to ‘Target’) apply an orbit camera
– Settings for orbit camera –
Add to player, when input trigger pressed
Remove from player, when input trigger released
Expected Result
Custom zoom system should work fine with any equipped item. (it did previously, as I had a patchwork tool with this system ~1 year ago)
Observed Result
Custom zoom does not work, character and held items go invisible. This remains until the session is quit and restarted.
Hey Spanky, we’re having trouble getting a repro here, and it looks like we’re missing something. Could we get the full steps you do to get to this point, or send over your project ID?
Patchwork tool already have 2 zoom levels also linked to the “aim” keybind, probably using a input trigger on these same keybinds are the reason of this conflict happening
