Passthrough showing on any black surface in VRViewport

Hi All, got a weird issue happening when previewing a VR scene in viewport editor which utilises XR passthrough on a Quest 3 headset - I should point out that this doesn’t occur in packaged use. Below is a screenshot of the issue + My meta XR settings.




For some reason, recently, passthrough is enabling on every black surface. This wasn’t happening to begin with and doesn’t happen if I open and start a new project - so I’m lead to believe that I have selected or adjusted an option that has made this occur.

If anyone recognises or has any prior experience with this then please do let me know what could be done to resolve this, other than starting a new project file haha.

That could be something applying chroma key passthrough to the scene. AFAIK only the third-party Virtual Desktop and ALVR streaming apps support it for the Quest. What method are you using to connect the HMD to the computer?

Virtual Desktop - Didn’t even consider that it could be VD causing this. Turns out the environment passthrough mode was enabled!
