Passage to the North - Unreal Engine 5.4 PCG level concept

Hi everybody!
I want to share my last joint in Unreal. Last year was the time to learn how to use some PCG, but eventually I dropped this project short after I started it, just to get back on it few weeks ago.

This is intended to only show my progress into procedural generation for environment and level design and it’s not an ongoing actual game project. But perhaps I’ll continue the story if I’ll have time during next year cause I liked a lot how it turned. Let’s see where it goes.

Passage to the North is a tale of a champion knight wandering through the forests of the North, following the path of old ruins and villages among these, seeking for an ancient treasure originally belonging to his family, which story is covered by misteries.

Don’t know why, I wasn’t able to put the link directly into the post, some sort of bug saying new users can put only 2 links in a post…well there were exactly two links  but whatever

Hi there @Stefano_Cardia,

Hope you’re well and having a wonderful week so far

This is absolutely stunning. I’m a total sucker for RPG’s with lush forests and gorgeous lighting and you’ve totally hit that on the head here  Thanks for sharing, hope we get to see a game that actually looks like this someday!

Hello @Stefano_Cardia ! Welcome back to posting with us on the forums!

I know working on PCG content can be a little tiring, so I’m glad that you took a little break before coming back. I can agree with Panda in regards to how stunning your environments are. I love that one can draw conclusions from the scenery based off of all the little things incorporated which makes it feel very lived in. I also truly appreciate the armor you showcase on the character. While fantasy armor is all well and fun, having armor that looks realistic for genuine immersion goes such a long way.

Keep up the amazing work and please don’t hesitate to take breaks if needed. :star_struck:
