Parts of Mesh Receiving Wrong Material

Hi everyone! This is my first UE4 project and one of my meshes is having a problem that I can’t seem to troubleshoot on my own.
The “secondary branches” of the tree, that are supposed to belong to the bark material group, are being grouped into the parts of the mesh that should be receiving the leaf material.

I’ve tried reimporting in UE4 and re-exporting the .fbx from Maya.
Anyone had this issue before? Thanks for reading!

Seems like you have assigned those vertices to the wrong material group/slot -> recheck it in your 3d program :slight_smile:

Thank you for the quick response! When re-exporting from Maya, I made sure that the branches were assigned the same material as the trunk. Here is a screenshot from Maya:

For whatever reason, UE4 doesn’t agree. Anything else I can check? I would prefer not to reassemble this asset.
