Particles emitters are blocking object selection in Editor

I have a scene with lots of particle emitters, and also some objects there. So when I want to select an object I usually click on it in editor window. usually it selects a particle emitter above it. I need to zoom closely to an object to select it.

Is there some option to override this behavior. Ideally selection would loop through all objects under the selection ray, by continuously clicking. Or some way to block some objects from being selected in editor.

Disable the “Allow Translucent Selection” from the Editor Settings.

Yes, thanks, I already found the solution. This feature should be disabled by default imho. It is annoying and hard to find the reason of this behaviour.

I agree,…it is one of those things that I’ve to check first time :smiley: jsut to make life easier with glass and particles!
