Particle System gaining random rotation from parent object?

Hi,

I could really do with some help! I purchased a pyro pack for some awesome visuals and my desired effect was to have a nuke flying over a map with an awesome fire effect roaring out… Here is the BP viewport and in game.

I have a SM (nuke), fire effect (child) then five splines which the nuke will choose a path randomly from and follow over a set duration of a timeline. This appears to be working fine, but when following the SM & splines the particle has one component that spawns what appears to be at a 90 degree angle compared to the other parts, making the effect look rather silly… Does anyone know what setting I should be looking for in the particle effect to help fix this? I’ve tried for hours turning things on and off, playing with settings and checking rotation angles but I cannot seem to target this one component - does anyone know what might be happening here? Or even, what part of the effect I should be looking in to stop getting the rotation angle? I’ve attached everything involved to help narrow down any issue. If you help me fix it I’ll let you press the nuke button!

Thanks!
