I’m not going to be keeping this type of environment for much longer but I’d like to fix this issue before i move on.
I’ve got a basic particle system that has a single emitter, a Ribbon data one, and my map is surrounded by collision boxes that teleport actors to the other side of the map exactly like asteroids. The problem is the ribbon stretches itself all the way to the new location when the actor it’s attached to get’s teleported (a sphere acting as a place holder missile).
Any idea on how to stop this from happening? You van see some examples below, the red lines being the actual path, and in the 2nd image i highlight the stretch with a parallel blue line. The 1st image is the teleporter.
