Hello,

The Particle Module “Emitter Initial Location” does not work when source emitter has an “Orbit” Module.
See screenshot.

In the source code, see UParticleModuleLocationEmitter::Spawn : pkParticle->Location & pkParticle->Velocity are used instead of LocationEmitterInst->GetParticleLocationWithOrbitPreviousOffset( pkParticle ) and the proper velocity

(at least afaik)

This has been well known since 4.0.
Its not really a bug but a limitation afaik.
some googling and searching will result in many people mentioning the same thing.

I doubt there will ever be a fix for cascade, so lets hope niagara has it :slight_smile:
