I’ve been trying to make “mesh rotation rate over life” (or * life) module to work for the past hour and it doesn’t affect the mesh no matter which settings I use (as well as scale). The only other module which seems to be working is “initial rotation rate” (when it comes to rotation). Maybe I’m missing something obvious or I acquired terminal down syndrome in the past hour trying to make it work.
My goal is being able to control the rotation of the mesh over it’s life (and I want to do it within particle system), with different rates (or rotations) at different points in curve editor.
Currently the issue is backlogged and I do not have any current timeline as many of our engineers are working on the newest implementation of the Particle System Editor, Niagara.
Ok well, it’s been 3 years now. Did you guys get around to fixing something as important and obvious as rotating particle meshes over their lives? Or is that “backlogged” still?
And yes, the annoyance and cynicism is intentional. I can’t even believe you “backlogged” something like this. I can’t believe it’s a bug that even got out the door, let alone that you let it sit for how many years now? Embarrassing.
