particle emitter causes heavy fps drop

Does your particle contain any of the following?:

  1. Lots of translucencies layered on top of each other

  2. Real light casting that causes dynamic shadows

  3. A material with a lot of instructions (regardless of if the textures used are simple)

Any of these could be causing an FPS drop, especially if the particle is large and taking up a lot of your screen vision.

Hi, so i created a simple particle with a simple low poly texture, but when i spawn the particle it causes heavy fps drops, my fps goes from 100 to 30 then when the particle is destroyed it goes up to 100, anyone got an idea? as said it has a low poly texture, Thanks.
