Particle does not collide on the 2nd computer

I program on my PC most of the time, unless it’s nice weather outside, then I’m on the laptop. My data is always saved via svn. So everyone has the same.

I have the problem that the particles collide on the computer and not on the laptop. So really with bind and custom event in one actor. Blood splatters are practically spawned and stains when they fall on the floor. The particles can be seen on the laptop, but don’t seem to collide. In any case, the event gives no command.

How can that be? Is a hardware requirement not sufficient?

What’s the FPS difference between the desktop and the laptop? Might be the laptop just doesn’t register the collision due to lower fps, and I don’t know if there’s something similar to CCD for particles.
