Hello, so I have a character with a sword, when the sword hits an enemy I would like it to play this kind of pow-ish particle effect I have. Only thing is, there’s like, a one second delay. I’ve done some reading, and I’ve seen some stuff about having the particles burst instead of spawn, but I can’t seem to find that module since it doesn’t seem to be under “Spawn” anymore. Also there apparently was something about “warm up time” that I can’t seem to find now. If anybody can help me with this, I’d really appreciate it.
Update: Found the warmup time thing, turns out it is set to 0 by default, so that’s not it. I still can’t figure out where to put it in burst mode though
Update: I found some burst options under the spawn module, but messing with those didn’t really do anything. So I’m at a loss now.
Third update, I’ve been using an overlap event to trigger the particles, thinking that had something to do with it, I changed it to a line trace that ran with the sword. Sot hat when the enemy hit the line, the particle would play. However I still get this annoying delayed result. Anybody have any ideas? At all?
OK NOPE IGNORE ME I’M SO STUPID i FINALLY FIGURED OUT HOW TO PROPERLY USE THE BURST SETTINGS SO SORRY I’M SO DUMB.

I was also confused by this. You need to make spawn time 0
