Paragon Dissolve Effect

Hey guys, so I am using the Sevarog Paragon and already implemented some of his assets into my game. I thought the death animation lacks realness, but then I saw in a gameplay video of Sevarog that when he dies he actually dissolves into nothingness instead of the animation stopping when he is falling backwards mid-air. Now I found the material function MF_DeathFade, but I never used material functions before so I have no idea how I implement this as a notify into the animation in an animation montage. This should already be implemented from the asset side somehow, since the other FX also just needed me to put in a notify for a particle effect. Does somebody know how to do this?
