Hello,
I have created a project that demonstrates the issue and I will p.m it to whoever gets assigned to this because it contains assets from my game.
Scenario 1) The Texture is DXT + Bilinear = Png artifacts > No rendering jerkiness
Scenario 2) The Texture is DXT + Default =No Png artifacts > Rendering jerkiness
Scenario 3) The Texture is UserInterface2D + Bilinear = Png artifacts > No rendering jerkiness
Scenario 4) The Texture is DXT + Default = No Png artifacts > Rendering jerkiness
In short anything that is not Bilinear will not render correctly but it will create horrible png artifacts and vice versa regarding the Default.
I have added camera lag (which I use in my game) to help you see it better but even without it does the exact same thing.
As I said in my previous bug report this is simply game breaking. Please try to imagine hundreds of assets with 15 layer parallax (perspective camera) rendering like that, with artifacts and/or rendering jerkiness and i will probably end up in jail for causing epilepsy to unsuspected players…
I am ashamed to demonstrate my game with all this mess that is going on with paper2d. So much hard work for nothing. Hopefully someone will fix it soon.
