Panoramic Capture plugin artifacting with a Houdini Niagara particle system

In making pano renders of a Houdini Niagara particle system I’m getting persistent artifacts that appear as black boxes in the renders. Having done a bunch of testing I’ve found that:

  1. The black boxes are not considered as part of stereo parallax calculation: they overlap exactly on top and bottom.

  2. As far as I can tell, the only param in the BP that has an effect is SP.VerticalAngularIncrement which at small values turns the squares into more angular shapes.

  3. The boxes are static, that is, they don’t change as the particle sim develops.

Any ideas? I’m flummoxed.
